A local man says that this ghost takes pleasure in scaring foolish folks who are courageous enough to disturb the tranquility in Ewen. A shape with a skeleton face sporting murky robes is every now and then seen guzzling water from Eighteen Mile Rapids around midnight. A   wandering ghost has been said to have been seen on a small number of occasions suspended in the air like a hot-air balloon in Ewen. Regardless of what folks say, this ghost certainly is menacing; one that you do not want to run into on a dark night.
