Folks here allege that this ghost is that of a local resident who existed here in Gould City in the past. The spirit of an aged Indian chief is frequently perceived gazing down into the water at Beaver Bay very late at night. A local resident declares that this ghost takes pleasure in frightening foolish people who have the nerve to interrupt the tranquility in Gould City.
