Grand Haven, Michigan Ghost Tales I just moved here and I noticed a scary looking house on the road Meijer is on, and I was wondering if anyone knew the story behind it. When I use to walk past it I would get a sickening feeling. I think it's abandoned.. Anyone know the story?. It has been claimed that this individual ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was killed while passing through Grand Haven some decades ago. The ghost of a civil war fighter has regularly been spotted gazing at people in a Grand Haven home through a keyhole.
