Harbor Beach, Michigan Ghost Tales My grandparents lived on Bartlett street for many years. Myself and many other family members have repeatedly seen a young girl in old fashioned clothes and have also heard a gunshot around 3 am. My grandmother would see the little girl playing by her dresser with her jewelery. Sound of someone walking about and voices were often heard. These incidents happened to different family member, each describing the same thing. There is no doubt in my mind that this house was haunted. Some of the passed away refuse to stay in their graves in this settlement. Not everybody trusts in the reports the people who live here tell, but anyone who has stayed for the night in Harbor Beach, Michigan knows better. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of a female with half her head gone came       into view scaring folks in Bathing Beach Park at midnight. The eye witness fled after he set eyes on the ghost. Loads of residents say this ghost is that of a local resident who had a home here in Harbor Beach a long time ago. A form with a skeleton face sporting shadowy robes was noticed by Harbor Beach late at night staring at the water. The   spirit unmoved that there was somebody else nearby. A woman having a knife in her head came into view looking down into the water at Crane Point at midnight. The arrival of the viewer frightened the ghost who then vanished. A drifting ghost was noticed turning toward the watcher by Buckley Creek. The ghost spoke of avenging a murder. People who have perceived this ghost declare this ghost loves scaring people who dare to upset the serenity in Harbor Beach.
