Irons, Michigan Ghost Tales Back in the snowmobile trails just off of 10 1/2 mile road where the road turns to gravel, some strange things have happened.  There are several abandoned shacks along the trail, some of which may well house paranormal guests.  I'll leave it to you to experience some of the odd going-ons back there.  Just be respectful to these areas.  Several 'mishaps' have been know to befall those who disrespect certain areas deep in the woods. Lots of ghost accounts have been reported by the locals. Some locals assert these tales are lies, but the struggling spirits of Irons are all too real. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A beheaded lady may from time to time be seen playing a song on an accordion in an Irons trailer. No matter what people       express, it is certainly a scary ghost that any rational person wouldn't want to encounter. The ghost of a 9 foot tall massive man has often been spotted in Dorner Lake Recreation Site in the early morning hours reading a magazine.
