Shocked by the eye witnesses the phantom faded away into the darkness. According to what the folks who live here assert, this spirit is the undeceased spirit of a former Lake Ann local person. The spirit of a youthful cowboy has repeatedly been seen under a creepy lofty tree in Pere Marquette State Forest trying to find a man. Residents here who have perceived this ghost say this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while passing through Lake Ann a long time ago. The spirit of a zinc-miner is often perceived striding through a Lake Ann neighborhood graveyard.
