Lincoln Park, Michigan Ghost Tales | |
|
I grew up in a home on Michigan Blvd. that was haunted. My first expeience was when I was five, I felt a hand grab my upper arm when I was playing on the staircase in the upstairs of the house. My mother was in the basement washing clothes and we were the only two home at the time. I also heard knocking underneath my nightstand next to my bed when I woke up one morning about 7am, when I was about 14. I looked underneath the nightstand and noting was there. After I was an adult and my family had moved away, my father told me that he had heard knocking all over the upstairs that previous night. My sisters also had experiences there. My father was told my the elderly neighbor man that, ''Women don't like that house, they never stay long.'' I lived there for 4 years and I was scared the whole time. I am almost 50 years old now and I would never go back to that house, ever. I've often wondered if the people who have lived in the house since us have ever had any experiences. In the day Lincoln Park, Michigan is equal to any other American settlement, but after the sun has called it a day you may well see some creepy things. Some of the departed will not stay underground in this settlement. People who have never stayed for a few days in this settlement will say to you it's lies, but seeing is believing

and if you stay for a few days here in Lincoln Park, you may perhaps catch a glimpse of a ghost.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The ghost of an old woman gripping a shot gun has now and then been noticed weeping by Allen Drain. Locals argue that this ghost is possibly the undeparted ghost of a resident who used to have a house here in Lincoln Park. Anyway, this is an intimidating ghost that any sensible person wouldn't wish to meet.
The ghost of a flight attendant has supposedly been noticed on frequent occasions becoming visible in a restroom mirror.
The ghost of an elderly cleaning lady was perceived sitting on a sofa in a trailer near Lincoln Park. The viewer got freaked out and escaped. In any case, it is indisputably a terrifying ghost that you shouldn't go looking for.
A pitch black dog that turned into a lady showed up in the rear seat of a Dodge by the driver witnessing the phantom in his rear view mirror in the early morning hours before sunrise.

The phantom did not appear to be concerned by the witnesses. A local woman argues that this ghost is the stressed soul of a former Lincoln Park resident. Whatever folks utter, this is a bad phantom that should be left alone.
