Custom Search Ludington, Michigan Ghost Sightings Ludington PAGE 1   2   3     I stayed at the Stearns hotel in Ludington the night before taking the car ferry to Wisconsin. I believe I must have been the Only person there that night. The Man at the Check in desk was old and not very talkative. He gave me a room key to #126. Upon walking down the dark hallway I stopped at my door to go in. Just then I heard 3 knocks on the door. I said ''hello anyone there? '' no response and I rechecked my room key     # / door # and it was the right room. So when I went in I looked around for anyone in the room but nobody was in the room. I did see a shadow pass quickly within the room but no other experiences. This is a very old hotel probably 1900 when built. The grand entrance is huge and beautiful. I did ask someone at the hotel if there were any ghosts and he responded no!.
