I live on a private road, called Gardner's Road. At the very end of the road is the state game area. Me and my friends used to party back there, and I became comfortable being back there by myself. One night during a wiccan holiday (at night around midnight) I walked back to ''The Sacred Tree'', a single tree that was struck by lightning and regrew as a group of trees with one base. The trees(or rather, tree) grew in a circle, leaving an area in the middle large enough for a small table. And that is where I began to meditate and cast my circle. Legend is told that the area was once a farm, and two families raised cattle there. Both the families lost children to mumps and abandoned the farm, leaving one of the distraught mothers behind. She eventually died herself of unknown reasons. Anyway, while I was growing deeper into my meditation I began to herd a woman sobbing, and calling out the name Edna. I rose to my feet and called out to whomever was out there, and the sound stopped. I was rather shaken and began to pack my stuff up to leave when

it began again. The sound fallowed me all the way to the small pond at the beginning of the state game area, as well as the sound of stick and leaves snapping, and something like the sound of rocks hitting each other, wild moaning and still more sobbing. I've been back a few times to try and contact the grieving soul, but I haven’t been successful.

There was another time My cousin and I were back there in the parking lot smoking a cigarette, when we saw a light moving behind the trees. The best we could make out it was a glowing figure. There was a strong smell of metal in the air. Submitted by Keith
A man named Richard has haunted my house for the past 10 months. I have been awaken and startled by a transparent figure several times. I hear voices and noises throughout the night. . Submitted by Michele
