Menominee, Michigan Ghost Tales As a child, I ran through a house near the corner of 1st st and 18th ave.  I saw someone sitting on the bed there.  I asked the homeowners, whom my parents were visiting whom I saw upstairs when I returned down to the kitchen.  No one else was there.  Does anyone else have any information about strange happenings in this vicinity?. The ceiling attic door frequently slammed up and down and my brother was attacked at night and left with bruises. It was across the street from Boswell school.  The exact place they held their tree hanging executions from years gone by.  I lived in a house a block away later when I got married and experienced even worse things there. The best place to experience the ghost(s) is in the basement. Sit in the old tunnel in the basement with the lights off and ask for a spirit to show itself.
