The ghost of an aged prospector with a big mustache and a hook instead of his hand appeared staring at an old man snoozing
  on the floor in a home in Mio. Other reports of this ghost have been described.

The ghost of an elderly lady carrying a shot gun was distinguished speaking into the night in Smith Lake Park at night. Other folks nearby have had identical happenings with an almost identical ghost. One of the residents definitely alleges that this spirit enjoys terrifying folks who come trying to locate spirits in Mio.

The ghost of an elderly Indian chief was distinguished hauling a cadaver from the chilly water of Antler Creek before dawn. This spirit is enormously active in this area; there have been several additional stories of this precise spirit. Some of the residents claim this spirit could be the spirit of a local resident who died here in Mio long ago.

A black cat that shifted shape into a female has often been observed at midnight looking across Comins Flats. No matter what folks express, it undoubtedly is a frightening phantom that should be stayed away from.
