Monroe, Michigan Ghost Tales | |

For a few years, I worked at a movie theater in the town. I had quite a few odd experiences there, the most of amazing of which was the appearance of the former owner who'd been deceased for many years. He opened the doors to one of the theaters, walked towards me, turned a corner and completely disappeared. It was a Sunday morning close to noon, and I was completely alone in the building at the time. When the manager came in, I told her about my experience, and she advised that many others have seen him through out the years, they just don't talk openly about it.

live in a 1912 house and I've seen a shadow that looked like a man in my basement. I have a old coal shoot and my dog will bark at it we heard sounds and people talking upstairs. I was diging in the ground

outside and found so old glass and a human bone my house was built on an old battle field.

Back in the late 50's early 60's there was a story that made the newspaper and was mentioned on the news about ghost sightings in Kentucky Park Monroe Michigan. The sigthings were near a wooded area by a store that people took a dirt path to walk to. Would appreciate any stories pertaining to these sightings.

things. The living dead are crawling over this city as the people who live here will enlighten you about. Not everybody believes in the accounts the people who live here tell, but menacing things indisputably
occur here in Monroe in the night time.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The ghost of a youthful woman having on a blood-splattered
dress materialized sobbing next to a deserted road in the vicinity of Monroe before sunrise. The phantom talked about revenging an assassination. No matter what, it's a menacing ghost that is rather not
upset.
The phantom of a 10 foot tall huge man was distinguished staring down into the water at Brest Bay at the stroke of midnight. The onlooker panicked and ran off.
The phantom of a teenage
girl has repeatedly been noticed burying a corpse by a big boulder in Sterling State Park on a dark night.
A character with a skeleton face having on gloomy robes has been said to have been witnessed
on frequent occasions spending time in an abandoned dwelling in Monroe. A woman who lives here claims that this spirit is the stressed spirit of a long forgotten Monroe local. Regardless of what folks
exclaim, it is certainly a menacing ghost that you would not want to run into before sunrise.
A wandering ghost may often be noticed at Turning Basin on a dark night taking pleasure in the panorama.
The
ghost of a jetliner pilot can be noticed very frequently in the early morning hours before sunrise floating by on Barry Babcock and Baker Drain. One of the local residents confidently asserts that this
ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was murdered while journeying through Monroe a long time ago. One thing's for guaranteed, this is a bad phantom that any reasonable person would not want to come
across.
The creepy spirit of a Gaul has from time to time been seen standing by a deserted road next to Monroe.
