We were looking for my lost dog and it was getting dark very quickly. All of the sudden we heard a noise that sounded like a cat that was in much pain all around us. The air smelled tainted and it gave us both instant chills. We were still determined to find my dog so we kept walking and yelling her name. Then emerging from the darkness was a small     figure making a strange noise. We started to panic and darted out of the woods. It Felt like a longer trip back and when we finally found the clearing my boyfriend fell and broke his leg. He also had scratches on his back that looked as if a cat had done it. We still don't understand what happened that dark night but him and I are pretty sure we had encountered a ghost.
