I've lived in Newport MI all of my life (46 years) and have never heard of, or seen a ghost. The rumor about an old indian burial ground at the trailer park site is not true. That pond they refer to was dug to extract stone for the building of I-275. County records show that no one has ever died in that pond. The pond has been dried up for years! is 6 miles to the east, near Swan Creek, and only 4 graves are known to exsist there. No where near the trailer park. Submitted by Bill Categories:

Newport farms, a mobile home park, was built on a native american burial ground. The area of the graves are where the mail boxes are and no houses have been but there, but the grounds just have a quiet and erie feeling to them, even if noises are all around.
