The phantom of an old gold digger with a large mustache and a hook instead of his right hand is frequently perceived showing up in a mirror. Some of the people here argue this phantom is the undead soul of a long forgotten Ovid person who lived here. The spirit of an old woman hauling a revolver has purportedly been observed on several instances having a seat on a couch in a trailer near Ovid. The spirit of a flight attendant can regularly be made out in the rear seat of a Jeep by the driver seeing the ghost in her rear view mirror at night.
