I had woken them up with the sound of the sewing machine. After a minute, I turned back to say good morning, but nobody was there. I went and checked the bathroom, kitchen, my bedroom, then slowly walked up the staircase. My son was sound asleep in his room, I walked into my daughters room and she was also sound asleep so I went back downstairs wondering what it was I had heard and felt. I questioned the children after they

had gotten up and neither of them had come down earlier. I continued to experience other happenings throughout the years I lived there, but

never have been afraid or experienced anything harmful. I was told long ago that if a house is defaced or changed in anyway, shape, or form, sometimes it disturbs any dormant spirit and happenings occur. We made a lot of changes when we remodeled that old house! I never took pictures! .
