A soldier's outfit wandering about without a body in it is rumored to have been seen on several occasions concealing a cadaver by a large boulder in Arthur J Miller Park in the early morning hours. The ghost of a civil war soldier may sometimes be observed in the rear seat of a VW by the driver distinguishing the ghost in her rear view mirror in the early morning hours before sunrise. Local people who have witnessed this phantom argue this phantom is that of a resident who dwelled here in Saint Clair Shores some decades ago. In any event, it undoubtedly is a chilling phantom that you wouldn't want to meet after midnight. The ghost of a seriously charred woman has often been witnessed cutting grass in the back garden of an apartment in Saint Clair Shores. Locals here declare that this ghost loves frightening people who are fearless enough to interrupt the calm in Saint Clair Shores.
