Seney, Michigan Ghost Tales I live here in Seney, my home is haunted. The legend says that the person who has haunted and scared each family who has lived here is the original builder and owner of this home. I lay in bed at night reading, no one is home yet I hear some one coming down the stairs, each step squeaking along the way, I get up and no one is there. Some times the radio will turn itself to a totally diff. channel. Once my daughter who sleeps upstairs woke me up around 2-3 in the morning frightened out of her skin, telling me there is a ghost upstairs! she was sleeping when she felt me crawl into bed with her and put my arm around her waist, a short time later my arm was getting heavy so she went to lift it and move it but THERE WAS NO ARM THERE, she turned and NO ONE WAS IN BED WITH HER! My son asked me one day what I was doing upstairs in his room one day during the night, I was never up there. The previous tenants told me of the time they all left the house for 20 min. and when they got back every door, drawer, and cabinet was wide open! A diff tenant       has told me (3rd tenant back) about how some one would shake her bed, she also heard some one come down the stairs, and how the ghost would grab her toe, as if to tease or taunt her. I personally have no problem with this ghost, I do hear him, but I also respect him and that is why I feel he does not bother me. Only those who mess with him does he   mess with in turn, so I strongly recommended that never piss off a ghost, you never know what may happen to you.
