ghost of an elderly lady gripping a rifle emerged floating along on Byers Creek on a dark night. Further people nearby have had identical happenings with an identical ghost.
The ghost of an aged Indian chief was perceived seeking a book by a parked Chevy in a Stanwood parking lot very late at night. This ghost is enormously active in this vicinity; there have been several other stories of this particular ghost. One of the people who live here decisively argues that this spirit is the struggling soul of a long dead Stanwood local person. Anyhow, this ghost sure is chilling; one that you shouldn't go trying to locate.
