I forgot to add that in my haunted house there was a day when my husband was working on Pine Wood Derby cars in the basement. He made sure to put the slide lock on the outside of the basement door, so that our 3yr old son wouldn't fall down into the basement. A few minutes later the door flew open with a BANG! Our 3 year old son went running toward the door happily exclaiming, ''Dad-o! Dad-o!'' I yelled to him, ''It's NOT Dad-o. It's a ghost.'' He quickly turned and ran from the door screaming, ''GHOST!'' It was just weird!.

I was in a house near Rockwood right by the town cemetery and 2 people with very strange masks on appeared when I woke up and then diminished away. I researched the house and two brothers who killed their whole family lived there. Submitted by Corry Categories: home, man
Me and a couple of my friends were staying at the great wolf lodge. And we all woke up in the middle of the night to see a guy going through the dresser drawers. He had blood on his face and was talking to himself. Submitted by Megs Categories: hotel, man
I live in traverse city and there are plenty of ghosts to go around. I have witnessed a couple near my house which is in a densley forested area, I might add. I saw a shadowy figure near my back fence and I nearly jumped out of my skin so I ran inside and locked the doors and windows. I always go outside with my family now. Submitted by anonymous

633 I observed a very unusual object in the Monroe Center Cemetary. I was in the cemetary after it had gotton dark. I then observed a bright light or orb located in the north side of the cemetary. It was hovering above the ground perhaps a couple of feet. It moved to the West. It was very slow. The light gave off no beams of light, it just ''glowed,''

has it hovered over the ground. The hair on the back of my nect stood straight up. I left in a hurry and have never been back. The following day, I researched cemetary records looking for someone with an Indian name buried in the cemetary with no luck. I was told that there were many poeple that were buried there that couldnt afford to register at the township in the mid 1850's. My conclusion is that this was a bear walker, or bear walk. My modern day standards - Modern day people call it a shapeshifter. The lession learned is that cemetaries are a place to honor the dead and show respect. In the might, they belong to the people living there. Submitted by anonymous
During the daylight hours Traverse City, Michigan is your normal American city, but if you are easily terrified, you'd better keep your distance to this place during the dark hours. Some of the deceased will not rest in this town. Folks who have never stayed a day in this town will say to you it's superstition, but Traverse City is bursting with tormented souls just waiting
