Comment by Bill: In response, no relation to Bill. The area mentioned is exactly where I watched this ethereal figure take solid form in period dress after it walked, not floated across the driveway right before my eyes.
It had an odd iridescent quality about it that somehow gave it a peculiar greenish radiance. I say he because it appeared to be male judging by the 19th or 20th century dress. May I also add it appeared youthful and in the prime of his life or whatever age that could be.
It was walking from the side of a large brick home where there were no doors or windows south across the driveway, as I was looking east right at it from a distance of maybe 30 yards. Just to give some accuracy to the event it was late 1990s- early 2000, cold and drizzling at about 3:00-3:30 am.

Wyandotte is indeed not only a very old city but spiritually speaking extremely active. From the days of it's first inhabitants of native Wyandot tribes to gangster wars of the prohibition period, through all of the modern day blood, sweat and tears spilled on the streets or homes here. To this day there are many old period homes still standing as reminder of a time long since past.
While monitoring traffic and looking at old homes long the Detroit River from a stationary patrol vehicle near Biddle and Emmons Boulevard , a man dressed in attire not appropriate for the early morning unseasonably cool rain was observed walking across a lengthy driveway before disappearing into a car. This figure appeared from nowhere meaning I was looking at the very point when this figure appeared and dissolved shortly thereafter. In the general area of Goddard Road and Electric Avenue heading east from there were several old homes sold, razed, and either sold for new construction or the property is re-zoned for other uses. In this particular area officers along with emergency medical technicians were sent to an address based on a ‘911' call shortly after installation of this system circa early to mid 1990s.|
An elderly female requesting help told a dispatcher she was having a heart attack, and in distress she gave her address. The address verified with computerized telephone equipment to that of the caller. Officers dispatched to the address heard at least two additional calls of distress by the dispatcher who says the caller dialed over and again. Officers arriving before medical personnel were shocked at what they discovered! While stopped in the road, the officers realized the home no longer stood on the lot that it would have about five years earlier.
You see, the callers name was the same of a resident who passed away at least earlier of a heart attack, and her old home was eventually sold and torn down to make way for a parking lot. Still trying to reason with what they experienced, the dispatcher radioed one last call saying they received another call from this woman from that address while the officers were stopped in front of where the address use to be five years earlier. Emergency medical rescue workers arrived equally puzzled to learn the name and address no longer existed. .
