Check out the woods on Fewtown Rd. The road is closed about half way back now because of murders and body dumpings, many occurring during the late 1980s early 1990s. I specifically recall a double murder at the old boat ramp.
A cheating couple gunned down by the husband. I believe he used a shotgun to murder them. Many of the bodies found were dumped on the oil access roads. Don't go alone and make sure it's not hunting season.
The area is closed to all other activities from sunrise to sunset.

Comment by Desirae: I've heard about that but was never told where abouts that is, if you don't mind please let me know...

Comment by spooky road: I was down on Fewtown this morning 10/11/13 at 6 am hunting. First time being there alone. I could not make myself walk in there. Until the sun came up. Then I was just looking around and found rocks hanging in the trees wrapped up all Indian style like.
I just left them alone and walked away. (bad juju). Go south on 225 towards Alliance from Deerfield, it's the first road on your left about 2 miles south of the 224 junction. The place is spooky.

Comment by Rachael: 02 / 21/2017 I live on State Route 225. I went onto Fewtown Road to go for a hike (the cut-off end) yesterday afternoon. Immediately I felt weird. I didn't know about the bodies being dumped there at the time, but I know about the murders (then and now). I pushed myself to walk further obviously snooping around along the way. What I didn't get was the random things I noticed. A torn little girl's t-shirt neon orange- very dirty. I found at least 25 empty shotgun shells scattered everywhere. I kept walking, and I got to an area. My dogs wouldn't go any further. They refused. This time of season the lake is drained quite a bit which leaves quick sand where the water had been. It was dumb of me to have gone over there at all although I would like to investigate further. Anybody who replies to this reply to my email. It's (if that doesn't work) .
