A house on West Main Street in Amanda, Ohio is haunted by a woman. I lived in this house with my family from age 8 years old to age 14. Much paranormal activity was experienced by myself and my family members. One incident that will stand out in my mind forever is the sight of a womanly figure sitting in our walk-in closet at the top of the main staircase. I have heard slamming doors. Wall hangings randomly fell. There was a sound of unexplained banging

on our kitchen table one night while everyone in the house but myself was asleep. The house dates back to the mid 1800s. I believe it is haunted by a

lady who was born raised and died alone in the house at the age of 84 years in 1972. .
