He is now in his 60's and this happened to him in the mid 1950's in his childhood. He was walking home alone one night and had to go underneath a Railroad bridge. All of a sudden a pair of boots started walking beside him and kept walking with him until he got away from the bridge. He was extremely frightened but never told anyone about this until years later     when he was a man. Years later he heard that in the 1890's a man was hit by a train on that rr bridge and it knocked his boots off. Has anyone else ever heard anything about this.
