Group of friends and I were camping by the creek n what we kids called ''The Canyons'' which is located under the train track bridge closest to the post office.
There was like 5 or more of us and a friend and I stared listening 2 the ghost stories the boys were telling us and I don't know if the boys had some people playing a trick on us because nothing was said about it ever but I looked across the creek and I saw people standing there wearing plain

There is a building for rent now on the back side of a supermarket in Ashville. That building used to be a state liquor store where a man working late at night was robbed and dragged into the back room and killed.
The back room area was once part of the now back room at the supermarket. Since they own the whole building it's logical to assume they have made renovations since the 60- 70s when this supposedly happened.
People who work at the supermarket have seen strange things too. I heard from a trusted friend that the metal doors the employees go through has been propped wide open which is impossible when it swings closed behind you.
