Bellevue, Ohio Ghost Tales In 1967, my parents moved into an upstairs apartment of a two story house in Bellevue, Ohio. It was near the train tracks. Often, they would hear a man's boot steps walk across the floor. Sometimes the steps passed right by them. They never saw anything, only heard. I was born shortly after. My bed was a tiny wooden rocking cradle set up in the front room. My parents have told the story many times of how when I would cry they would hear a man's boot steps walk across the floor and stop at my cradle. Then the cradle would begin to gently rock and I would stop crying. I one time asked my mom why she didn't snatch me up and why they didn't move from the apartment house. My mom's reply, ''Why? He wasn't hurting anyone and we didn't feel scared.''. Things take       place in this place that cannot be rationalized. Skeptics don't trust in the local spirit tales, but not everyone of the residents of Bellevue are alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The phantom of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead was witnessed guzzling unleaded   from a gas pump at a fueling station in Bellevue. The bystander became frightened and fled. If you listen to what the people who live here assert, this ghost takes pleasure in startling unwise folks who have the guts to disturb the quiet in Bellevue. The ghost of an aged guy with a long white mustache emerged articulating into the thin air as if somebody besides was there. The ghost did not seem to be bothered by the onlookers. Well, it's a chilling ghost that any sane person would not want to run into. The ghost of a gentleman wearing an armed forces uniform was noticed in Ellis Park on a dark night pointing at the onlooker. The ghost saluted the onlooker. The armor of a medieval knight devoid of a human inside has often been observed staring at the water by Bellevue Reservoir Number Five Dam late at night. A semi transparent gentleman outfitted as the captain of a boat is known to have been made out on frequent instances by Megginson Creek going crazy. In any event, it unquestionably is a creepy ghost that should be left alone.
