Berlin Center, Ohio Ghost Tales My grandparents live in a very old bicentennial house in Berlin center that was built in the late 1800's. Several people have witnessed several unusual things in the house. When I was about 13 years old I saw a ghost sitting in a chair in my grandparents house when I woke up from a nap. I was unable to move or scream or anything when I saw the ghost. I later described the ghost to my grandmother who didn't seem very surprised since she has witnessed many unusual things in the house. We did not however mention anything to my grandfather since he really doesn't believe in these sort of things. About 2 months passed and one day my grandfather was sitting in the kitchen counting some money from a garage sale he had earlier in the day. He looked over his shoulder because he had the feeling someone was watching him. That was when he saw the same ghost I had saw a few months earlier. We think it was the same ghost because he described what he saw to my grandmother and it was exactly what I had seen. And my grandmother had never said anything to him about       what I told her. About a week later he saw the same ghost in the same place. Shortly after this all happened me and my mom were in the public library in canfield where we were checking out some books, on the counter was a bicentennial book for the Berlin center area. She flipped open the book to a page that had a picture of the front of my grandparents house, and there was a picture of a man sitting on the porch. the picture of the man strongly resembled the ghost I had seen.
