Chauncey, Ohio Ghost Tales


By day you might think Chauncey, Ohio is exactly the same as any other city, but when the gloomy shadows of the night roll in the living dead appear. Things go down here that cannot be given an explanation. Folks who have never stayed a day in this city will tell you it's lies, but everybody who lives in Chauncey is not alive.

    over Wolfs Plains late at night. The watcher ran off immediately after he witnessed the ghost. Some of the locals claim this ghost takes pleasure in terrifying unwise folks who come trying to find ghosts
  in Chauncey.

A somewhat see-through man outfitted as the captain of a craft showed up by Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Company Ash Pond Dam before sunrise staring at the water. The ghost was unconcerned that there was someone other nearby. If you listen to the residents, this phantom can be the soul of a local resident who passed away here in Chauncey many years ago. No matter what, it unquestionably is a frightening ghost that should be steered clear of.

The ghost of a young-looking man sporting a confederate uniform was spotted pulling a body over rocks in Athens Downtown Historic
District on a dark night. The appearance of the onlooker startled the phantom who then disappeared.

The ghost of a strapped up gentleman was observed struggling to verbalize something up on Chandlers Hill. The viewer got scared and ran off. Based on what the locals allege, this ghost may well be a recognized past resident of Chauncey. Whatever folks articulate, this is a horrible ghost that is better not upset.
