Spirits are so ordinary in this town; loads of folks who live here don’t even fret about it any longer. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A black as coal dog that shifted shape into a woman may be seen repeatedly standing by a secluded highway outside Chesterland. The ghost of a youthful lady outfitted as a maid has from time to time been noticed carving a crater up on the peak of Gildersleeve Mountain.       A lot of locals argue this ghost can be the spirit of a local who passed away here in Chesterland some decades ago. The ghost of a young-looking cowboy is every so often perceived gazing at the water by Bellwood Lake Dam around midnight. A frightening beast is known to have been observed on several occasions traveling on a motorcycle   on a dark highway right next door to Chesterland. Folks who have made out this ghost assert this ghost is perhaps the tormented ghost of a person who used to dwell here in Chesterland. The phantom of a steel-miner may now and then be spotted in a flat in Chesterland. A lady with a partially transparent body has regularly been noticed burying a dead body by a big rock in Chagrin State Scenic River late at night. Anyhow, it's a chilling phantom that any rational person wouldn't want to run into. The spirit of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead is often observed articulating into the night under a terrifying giant tree in A B Williams Memorial Woods. In any event, it in all certainty is a frightening spirit that you shouldn't go looking for. The ghost of an elderly man with a large white beard has been observed on numerous instances reading a tabloid mid stream in East Branch Chagrin River. People allege that this ghost is the struggling soul of a long forgotten Chesterland local resident. Regardless of what, this ghost sure is bloodcurdling; one that is rather not disrupted.
