Clarksville, Ohio Ghost Tales

I grew up in Clarksville(1962-1983).  My Grandparent's lived across the road from the cemetery and it was peaceful..that was my playground (country kids are not bothered by these issues).  However, my grandparent's house was NOT so peaceful.  In High School, I would watch ''General Hospital'' most week days with my Grandmother, that was our time together..until the ''Lady Upstairs'' started her banging, stomping, slamming..generally interrupting our TV.  We would ignore her for as long as possible, but at last my God-fearing Pentecostal Grandmother would pull my on my knees and we would pray.  Yes, the whole ''Get thee behind me Satan.''  This was normal (shaking my head)  Although I did not see her personally, many other family members have seen her.  My Father (retired-cop), my Mom, Aunt, well, everyone but me.  If you are driving past the cemetery look over..there is only one house directly across from the gate.  Look for a woman in a white dress, she is usually out by the old pool or upstairs and apparently still really pissed off.  P.S.  Don't be afraid..she
has been there since, as long as anyone can remember and my Aunt now lives in that house so I guess ''The Lady'' is kinda like family now..

My family puchased a home biult in 1860. Shortly after moving in we began noticing shadows across the walls.
The sightings of a small girl with pale skin began appearing throughtout the house. The kitchen door opens and then closes a very distinctive sound. When our daughter is away her stereo will turn on, after we turnit off it will come back. At this point we let her listen as long as she wants . When finisher she turns back off. We like her for she causes no harm.

It is a known fact in clarksville ohio that there are many houses near and in clarksville that were stations on the underground railroad it is said that when you walk by wooded areas you can hear the singing of the runaway slaves singing unconventional slave songs but at the same time you may hear the footsteps of a horse and then a gunshot then everything goes silent and it becomes extremely cold I have experienced this myself and many other people have too.
