On a trip down Panhandle road, Nicole Wallace and myself were crossing the levee when we saw a very bright red ball of light floating about 60 yards away. The ball would dim then get very bright. we watched it move around for about 30 seconds before disappearing. This was in January so there was no chance of it being a lightening bug or insect. In my north-end Delaware home, I awoke suddenly one night to find an old woman's silently screaming face a few inches from my face. The face disappeared when I bolted up. Two weeks later, I observed the same old woman as a full body apparition floating along beside my bed, then disappearing into the wall at the head of my bed as I watched the whole 20-30 second episode. young lady seen on a road speaking of revenge for being murdered is 'Cynthia Pfeil', a coed who was murdered by her boyfriend, Roy Schleagle, on Sept. 17, 1953. Other Delaware residents driving by the area of the murder have seen her walking on Henry Street. I have heard her wails of horror on one occasion. This information is in my book. My e-mail

While the sun is up the locals in Delaware, Ohio do their thing just the same as anywhere else, but this town is haunted by the undead after dusk. The spirits of this settlement don’t leave anyone unfrightened. Some local residents assert there are no spirits, but anyone who has spent a night in Delaware, Ohio knows better.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
A headless man has purportedly been spotted on a few occasions mounted on a motorbike on a murky highway in the vicinity of Delaware. If you listen to the local residents, this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while driving through Delaware in the past. In any event, this ghost certainly is bloodcurdling;
