On a trip down Panhandle road, nicole Wallace and myself were crossing the levee when we saw a very bright red ball of light floating about 60 yards away. The ball would dim then get very bright. We watched it move around for about 30 seconds before disappearing. This was in January so there was no chance of it being a lightning bug or insect. Submitted by Ellis
Comment by anonymous: Yes Panhandle road has several ghost sightings. I was 5 and lived in a house on that road and that's where I saw my first ghost.

In my north-end Delaware home, I awoke suddenly one night to find an old woman's silently screaming face a few inches from my face. The face disappeared when I bolted up. Two weeks later, I observed the same old woman as a full body apparition floating along beside my bed, then disappearing into the wall at the head of my bed as I watched the whole 20-30 second episode. As author of 'the ghosts of Stuyvesant hall and beyond-volume1,' I can verify two of the insertions: (1) regarding the young lady seen in Stuyvesant hall (dormitory). Her name is alyssa, a former resident of a children's home which used to be located on London road.
