Doylestown, Ohio Ghost Tales When I was in my later years I have witnessed many sightings in Rouges Hollow. Enough so that after my last encounter was my last. I definitely a believer that the place is haunted. There are also several wickens that live and worship there. I was told that sightings take place to keep people from intruding on their worshiping. I have seen a house burning off a road that does not exist, even though I, with others with me have driven on that road. Three of my friends and I have seen a car disappear right in front of our eyes. It was parked on a rural road where we stopped to pee. We were not high nor drinking at he time. I have several other sightings from there which I prefer not to recall because I have no doubt what I saw was real. I am relating this in hopes that others will not go there to witness these things for themselves. Bad spirits are as real as good spirits are. I no longer live in Ohio, but if who ever reads this and desires to tests these things out, I would suggest that you may say a prayer asking for those spirits that are trapped       there to be released from there bondage to the Spirit World, where they find closure from their earthly misfortunes. By doing this you may do them a good service. Please do not take this as an excuse to there. I wish I would of thought to do that when I was there. I think everyone who grew up with in 30 miles or so around here knows this one. We used to go there in the middle of the night when I was a teen to see if we could hear the babies cry. Then it disappeared, I turned around and a face with one eye and stitches on its lips was in my face.? everything when dark and I found myself lying on the ground.?
