Greenville, Ohio Ghost Tales Well my old place was haunted. An apt 2 on Russ road at wycliff. Stuff would just happen on and off. Pictures would fall off the wall. My silver wear you would hear it move, I saw a shadow walk by in the kitchen. And doors would close or open lights would flicker. And when I was moving one night I saw two girls or ladies. And old time dresses talking and giggling when I was moving. So I don't know if they was haunting my place because I saw them plain as day like normal people. They were like out around 5 am. I'm like why would they be out this late talking even though it was nice out  that night. Hopefully they don't follow me :). A lot of phantom stories have been told       by the people who live here. Not everyone believes in the tales the people who live here tell, but if you are bold enough to stay overnight in Greenville, you could distinguish a phantom for yourself. A female's body having a rat's head has from time   to time been distinguished chatting into the night as if somebody besides was nearby. A person who lives here asserts that this spirit is in all probability the undeceased spirit of a resident who used to reside here in Greenville. A moderately decomposed human cadaver is every now and then distinguished in Annie Oakley Park before sunrise smoking a cigar. One thing is for guaranteed, it in all certainty is a creepy ghost that you wouldn't wish to encounter on a dark night. The spirit of a grower dressed in a worn hat has purportedly been observed on a small number of occasions articulating into the thin air beside the water at Tecumsehs Point. A youthful girl having on a blood-covered wedding gown may sometimes be made out looking through home windows in Greenville in the early morning hours. One of the folks who live here definitely declares that this ghost is the stressed soul of a former Greenville local person. Anyway, this ghost certainly is bloodcurdling; one that any rational person wouldn't want to come across. A lady with a blue-green face has often been observed floating along Boyd Creek very late at night. Some of the residents argue this ghost is that of a person who had a home here in Greenville long ago. In any case, this is an unsympathetic spirit that you shouldn't go seeking.
