While on my route with my mother who was taging along that day, we were traveling on Yost Rd. when not only me, but also my mother, witnessed a brownish-orange entity in the fog. The entity moved from side to side and then in a circle before fading into the fog in all four directions. I have always told my family members that there was some kind of presence on this road but everyone laughed at me and said that it was in my head. Well, at least my mother believes me now!. It has been declared that this precise phantom is that of a local resident who had a house here in Litchfield a long time ago. The spirit of a guy in a police force outfit has been observed on one or two instances conversing into the thin air at Eppley Pond   Dam before dawn. The ghost of an elderly guy with a large white mustache can often be made out reading a magazine in a boat on Spencer Lake. According to what the local residents declare, this ghost gets pleasure from terrifying foolish people who are brave enough to disturb the quiet in Litchfield.
