Another time is when I was walking up stairs into my room at night and my cat recently died and when she walked into my room she made the floor creek a certain way. So I was about to fall     asleep and I heard her foot steps. So I laid down trying not to think about it then my furnace started to creek really loud there all of the sudden it just stopped.
