Marshallville, Ohio Ghost Tales Many years back in Dalton OH on Wenger road there was a old apple orchard. Old man wenger was picking some apples when he heard screams from his house. He ran and ran till he got home. He seen his wife laying in bed with blood all over her, the walls, floors, and bed. Mr. Wenger picked his wife up and layed her in his lap and sat down on the bed. She had been beaten and raped. She passed away in his arms. Mr. Wenger looked up and seen a man with a ghost white face and dark clothing staring down at him. Mr Wenger jumped up, picked up a rod iron and hit this strange man in his legs. Old man Wenger picked the man up, took him out to his orchard in the tallest tree he could find and hung this strange man that no one had ever seen. Mr. Wenger sat on the tail gate of his truck and watched the white faced man suffer until he died. To this day folks from Dalton hear tales of seeing this ghost faced man wondering around Wenger Road, sometimes making his way towards town. Be aware and stay away from this wondering spirit or ghost.
