There was a hunter who died in a hunting accident in the woods just west of town. Ever since he died people have reported seeing a man resembling him in those woods. I heard of a guy who threw a stick at him and it went right through him.

It's been quite a few years now since the accident claimed his life but he still roams those woods just like he did when he was alive and hunted there. He must have died very suddenly and not realized he's dead.

I also heard of another guy who went out looking for the hunter to try to get him to pass over. He was out there for a good two weeks before he gave up looking for him. I guess you have to be lucky to see him or maybe he only shows himself to those he chooses to show himself to.
