New Carlisle, Ohio Ghost Tales Staley Road. Me and my fiends were joking around and decided to drive past the big red ''supposedly haunted'' barn. It used to be a meat barn. We drove by it the 1st time and there was nothing there. All of the lights were out. We turned made a u-turn and drove past it once more and the light was on. There was this woman, late forties, standing there. She was wearing this dirty apron over a ''so-eighteenth-century'' dress(me and my fiends joked later.)It could not be haunted, we thought. on the way back a black truck followed us. Nobody lived there but a couple years later me and my friends drove past the barn again the lights were off. We drove by again and a light could be seen in the barn. Out of one of the driveways a black truck pulls out and follows us. Coincident? You decide. . There was a woman that lived there and she had a picture on her wall that was       the house that I bought. I was told to never let her know that someone was living in her house because she always thought that she was going home. My neighbor was a mortician at a new Carlisle funeral home. In the meantime I quit working at the home. A few months later strange things were happening. I talked to my neighbor and he said that the lady   that had lived there had died several months ago. I would lock my windows before I went to work in the am. And when I got home I would see that my windows were open when I got home with the air cond. on. So I started to take notice. I at the time had 3 dogs that started to bark at nothing in the night, as if they've seen something all of the sudden. A couple of times it scared me so bad that I called someone to keep me company. I knew someone that said you can say  a prayer for spirits and he did and I have had no spirits since then, only bad luck.
