In the old middle school that was recently torn down, a ghostly girl could be seem in the gym along with the sounds of basketballs when no one was there. -October 22, 2008 .

Day in New Lebanon, Ohio is just the same as daylight anywhere else in the US of A, but some former folks from days gone by have returned here. Scores of ghost stories have been reported by the folks who live here. Not everyone trusts in the stories the folks who live here tell, but with so many ghosts in New Lebanon you have a pretty wonderful chance of spotting one if you stay an extra day here.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The ghost of a guy clothed as a janitor has every so often been witnessed pulling a cadaver from the ice cold water of Diehl Run at night.
The ghost of a man wearing a police uniform is occasionally spotted standing by a desolate highway near New Lebanon. Anyhow,

it's a bloodcurdling ghost that any sensible person wouldn't want to bump into.
The spirit of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead is known to have been made out on frequent occasions trying to locate somebody in Bob Siebenthaler Natural Area in the early morning hours. One of the folks who live here definitely argues that this

The spirit of an old man with a big white beard may occasionally be witnessed riding on a motorbike on a gloomy highway near New Lebanon. In any event, it is in all certainty a frightening phantom that should be steered clear of.
The ghost of a guy in a military outfit was made out in a flat in New Lebanon. This is one of those ghosts that is noticed very frequently in close proximity.
The armor of a medieval knight without a human inside showed up trying to grip something up on Cedar Mound. The eye witness ran off after she noticed the phantom. No matter what, this is a bad ghost that is preferably not interrupted.

gentleman dressed as the captain of a fishing boat was witnessed strolling along a wild road close to New Lebanon. The appearance of the eye witness alarmed the phantom who then faded away. Several of the people who live in this town assert this phantom may very well be a distinguished days gone by inhabitant of New Lebanon. One thing's for guaranteed, it's undoubtedly a terrifying ghost that any reasonable person wouldn't wish to run into.
