I don't have a ghost story per se, however I am a member of a group that investigates paranormal activity. I am very familiar with Newark, considering my husband was born and raised there and his parents still live there. If anyone would like for our group to investigate for free, please contact investigations on our website @ www.bandedspirits.com. Submitted by Terri Category: home
I was recently driving down the freeway where 161 turns to 16 I believe...at the Granville exit ramp. A tall male figure dressed in a suit was standing on the left side of the road where the ramp connects just staring at oncoming traffic it was about 3am. please anyone who knows any accidents or anything that have happened there respond to this. I did get some questionable pictures at night at Cedar Hill Cemetery, but I still don't know what caused them, they were taken via digital camera and showed things that were not there

when I looked with my own eyes, it leaves me wondering if it was a crazy flash thing or something more substantial. Submitted by Newark Resident Category: cemetery
All these occurrences are vague, so I can do nothing but question their authenticity. I am going to do some research on these locations

and do some investigating with my team. The Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newark is haunted, by whom I am not sure. We were there taking pictures one cold night, and caught several ghastly mists and orbs. It was after midnight and pretty dark out, so the flash in the camera was illuminating quite a bit. In the middle of taking pictures I snapped a shot and the side of a human face flashed before my eyes. The strange part is the thing that stood out the most was an ear. It was so detailed; like looking 6 inches away from the side of someones head. The picture I am posting is from that. You can see for yourself what you think. Happy Haunting.... My grandmothers house off of N 21st is haunted. There is a ghost dressed in civil war type garb who is often seen walking through the living room and in the upstairs back of the house bedroom, ( which so happens to have been my room) He has no hands or feet. He some times will sit on the piano or walk the stairs. Submitted
