When I was 11 yrs old I lived in Kwanis Lake in Newbury...on the rd behind my home,(I lived on View dr) there was an abandoned house,many said it was haunted..on a Friday night very late in the evening myself and 2 friends were out being kids and were throwing rocks at the old house..In the upper window of the house a woman's figure faintly appeared!! it scared us to death. The next day I asked my mother who used to live in

that house (not telling her what we did or seen) and she told me of a woman who had taken her children to the lake and drown herself and them

because God ask her to!! ''she was crazy, they said'' I BELIEVE she was there that night 30 some yrs ago and I will never forget.. since the house was torn down.
