Another night he thought our cat had jumped up on the bed and woke up screaming but she wasn't there (the cat always     staid in my room at night with the door shut). Some weeks later he took off his shirt after soccer practice and there were strange scars all over his back my mother said ''it looked as though someone gave him thirty lashes''. Except the scars looked old and healed over even though we'd just been to the Pool a few days earlier and there had been nothing there. The doctor couldn't figure out where they came from they were too wide to be scratches he said. That was more than ten years ago and he still has all of the scars today.
