When I moved into my apartment I found out very quickly there was another presence there besides my children and me. One night I was laying in my bed the room was really dark so my eyes had to get adjusted to the darkness before I could see.
When I looked towards the closet doors where my dresser was there was a black shadow standing in front of the dresser. It looked like it was touching something on the dresser. I couldn't move, I was frozen and I couldn't scream like I wanted to.
The fear was so overwhelming. This black figure turned his head towards me and stared at me which seemed like forever. I wanted to scream and run! I closed my eyes real tight and tears started falling, when I opened them again it was gone.
