Old Washington, Ohio Ghost Tales The 3rd floor of the old Beymer mansion (on the left side of the Rt 285 & Old National Rd) is haunted by an extremely powerful ghost. The current owners may talk about it, if you ask them for a tour. Submitted by K Tildes Near Halloween, a male figure can be seen carrying an old lantern from the middle of town (close to the present post office), over a hill, and back to the cemetery. He disappears before entering the cemetery. Things go down in this town that cannot be rationally explained. Folks who have never spent a night in this municipality will tell you it's lies, but creepy things sure go down here in Old Washington in the moonlight hours. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A woman with a knife sticking out of her head has allegedly been perceived on frequent occasions ascending       out from a storm drain on an Old Washington residential road at midnight. One thing's for sure, it is certainly a terrifying ghost that any commonsensical person would not want to run into.
