However in Fremont Ohio on a class field trip a few years ago we were getting a tour of the Hayes memorial. We were inside the house of Rutherford     b. Hayes and the lady was explaining about how when Hayes was away his wife would sit and write letters to him on a type writer. The type writer was set on a desk and the lady gestured to it and I swear to god I saw a lady in almost victorian clothing sitting in the chair with her fingers eagerly placed at the keys. I turned and grabbed my friends arm to Point it out and when I turned around the lady was gone. I haven't spoken of it since. It sounds like rubbish but I assure you it was Clear as day.
