Comment by anonymous: This story is very exaggerated. Yes a pregnant girl was murdered there a long time ago but her body was found on the spot and is not bolted into the wall. The murderer was caught and the crime was solved. The haunting is very much real but kids like to spice up stories quite a bit.

Comment by Chloe: I was in the old Canaan for 1 year before they built the new one my 5th grade year. I remember walking into the girl's restroom and seeing handprints on the wall... Now I know why.

There is a ghost of a small girl on converse ave. Late at night you can hear her laughing and playing. Sometimes you can even see her. If you walk down converse and don't hear or see her you will be overwhelmed by a feeling of lightheadedness especially near 3rd st.
