Talk about haunted. My husband and I bought this beautiful house on Cleveland Road. From day one of moving in, I knew that it was haunted. Here is just some of what goes on around here. Tub water turns on by itself in the middle of the night. Upstairs bathroom cold water turns on by itself at night. Some man coughs from another part of the house. (My son and I thought someone broke in, shortly after we purchased the house. ) Someone is always opening the refrigerator; I here that consistently. I have been followed around by what I feel is a female; she follows me as I clean. My sister and I tried a Ouija board. It starts off a bit slow and then speeds up fast clean off the board. Ah yes, we don't do that anymore.
There is so much activity here to just write it all down now. Nice ghost though. I am getting a bit upset with these ghosts lately. Fifteen months ago, my sister moves in. She and I love to giggle, laugh, share old stories and new stories. Just having fun being together. But the ghost here, thinks they can play funny games also. First I thought, how funny, at least my sister isn't scared. But enough is enough. The ghost takes everything. Not nailed down, well off it goes. My sister and I have agreed everything goes into the black hole. Yes, of course, at first we thought that we misplaced things, a lot. But no. The ghost have made it very clear that it is them. They move things; switch things around, all sorts of practical jokes. My sister took a short video of her cat playing with a toy, and when she went to show me, white streaks of light, lots of them, darting every which way across the video. Of course my sister wanted to show everyone our ghosts. So she posted it, and a great story about our ghost with the video on Facebook. My sister was so proud she caught the ghosts in the video and posted it. But I had to break her heart as I was on fb, seen the video and it didn't have the light streak show, that was on her phone. Yep, they just saw the cat playing.
I am about ready to call in a paranormal expert just to quiet this house down. And I really want my stuff back, that they took from me. Ravenna is a very old town with way too much history and activity. Remember, we made the horse drawn hearse', that carried some of the most famous presidents. No wonder why we are so haunted by the past. I'd venture to say almost every house in Ravenna, Ohio is haunted. And not in a bad way, may I add. I like my ghosts here, just want them to change their humor a bit, and quit hiding all my things.
