Custom Search Rio Grande, Ohio Ghost Sightings Rio Grande PAGE 1   2   3     I used to live 3 miles from Rio Grande when I went to school there and lived in a farmhouse just below Tyn Rhos Cemetery. Tyn Rhos is an old Welsh settlement church and cemetery. One summer evening around dusk I heard a bunch of children laughing and singing just up the hill towards the cemetery some 50 yards away. There is a 4-H camp just past there and I thought it was some kids staying in the camp. Just about that time     my room mate came home and I mentioned that the kids in the 4-H camp were having a pretty good time up there. She looked surprised and then said I was just there picking up some eggs and no one is in the camp except for the two owners who live there year round. No other people live near this area. The cemetery has several families buried in it from a cholera outbreack in the early 19th century. In the front of the cemetery there is a long row of children buried that died from thet outbreack, of all ages. My only explanation is that I heard those children's souls   (continued on the next page...)
