Rittman, Ohio Ghost Tales I was in the car with my boyfriend and his friend, and I was suddenly aware of how cold it was. However, I'd barely had time to realize this before I saw something in the weeds along the side of the road. It took me a moment, but I soon distinguished a face staring out at me, its expression twisted in anger and frozen in a silent scream. The rest of whatever it was seemed to be nothing more than a body of shadows supporting the screaming face. I was so frightened that I remained silent until we'd left the area and when I told my boyfriend about the screaming face later than night we both agreed to never travel down that road at night from that point on. Submitted by Mary I was walking down Sunset with my friends. While we were walking down the road, I looked down into the woods on the right of the road. As I peered into them I saw an aged man in a yellow rain suit. He looked right at me. As I alerted my friends, they looked down and saw this person as well. I started to walk down into the woods and the man started yelling ''No Meat,       No Meat'' This really startled me. As I ran out of the woods, I looked back over my shoulder, and the man began to fly right at me, I ducked down, and the man seemed to disappear into thin air. Further people nearby have had identical experiences involving the same ghost. Residents who have observed this ghost assert this ghost may be the spirit of a local person who passed away here in Rittman a long time ago. The phantom of a destitute gentleman came into sight excavating a crack by Blockers Run. This is one of those ghosts that is distinguished very often in the neighborhood. One thing's for sure, it in all certainty is a chilling spirit that is rather not upset. The ghost of a youthful cowboy was distinguished burying a cadaver by a sizeable rock in Bird Street Park late in the night. The eye witness fled immediately after he noticed the ghost.
